We put down newspapers to stop the grass growing up thru the garden and path (its a no-dig, above ground, garden) .

The finished garden looked great and was very creative - it had a "Snail" herb spiral,  "Caterpillar" tyre planter, archway and Teepee for climbers, 3 veggie beds, a fruit orchard, a compost bin and worm farm.
