Our A.G.M. and "In Transition" Film
Our A.G.M. will be held on Tuesday the 23rd February 2010, 7:15pm in Hamilton.
We again have the privelege of using the Baptist Church Hall in Lindsay Street, Hamilton (opposite Gregson Park).
The brief but necessary official business will be followed by the Convenor's address before the showing of the just released movie "In Transition ".
This is an inspiring film compiled from Transition Initiatives around the world - communities responding creatively and proactively to peak oil and climate change, seeing them as an historic opportunity to build the world anew.
Could this also be an opportunity for you to become involved in this growing, grassroots movement for change? We don't need to sell you on this, the only question is - will this be your year to join the team of Transitioners in Newcastle, and contribute to our preparations and burgeoning ideas to create a more sustainable, resilient and connected place to live?
