Transition Training
Training for Transition Workshop
The full two day workshop is both a practical and informative introduction to the logic and framework of the Transition Towns model. The trainers are from the Bowral Transition Town group, made famous for their stance on excluding bottled water from Bundanoon, the Bundy on Tap campaign. The training covers the context for transition, an overview of the 12 principals of Transition, visioning, awareness raising, the initiating group, the psychology of change, open space technology, Joanna Macey activities and operations of transition networks.
The workshop weaves together practice and theory and the Transition required at both the personal and community level. The feedback from participants overwhelmingly states that this two day interactive workshop offers key insights, understandings, and the awareness to help them in contributing to the journey toward a positive and abundant future.
